
The Texas Coastal Management Program (CMP), funded by NOAA, helps ensure the long-term environmental and economic health of the Texas coast through management of the state’s coastal natural resource areas. The program is managed by the Texas Land Commissioner.
Rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals that strand along the State’s coast. Provides information on research, education, mammal rescue, rehabilitation etc.
Oversees and protects wildlife and their habitats. In addition, the agency is responsible for managing the state’s parks and historical areas.
Provides educationally enriching, entertaining programming to a diverse audience; develops entertaining interactive exhibits that engage and inspire; promotes and practices environmental conservation and wildlife rehabilitation; provides first-class guest services; and operates as a private, self-supporting, not-for-profit organization.
Provides engineering excellence with integrity and credibility to our communities, our military and our Nation.
