Its core roles are to protect the public, the environment, and U.S. economic and security interests in any maritime region in which those interests may be at risk, including international waters and America’s coasts, ports, and inland waterways.
Seeks to preserve, restore and enhance the natural systems of the Russian River through citizen action, scientific research and expert advocacy.
Protects the region_s bays, beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them, balancing community outreach, education, and advocacy to promote stewardship of clean water and a healthy coastal ecosystem.
Committed to the protection and preservation of the city of Richmond’s shoreline, RSCR assists local agencies with shoreline emergencies, undertakes ongoing shoreline restoration and preservation projects, educates the local community and advocates for shoreline protection.
