A Rocha International
A Rocha responds to the global crisis of biodiversity loss through community-based conservation projects. Via residential field study centres, site-based projects and wider advocacy, A Rocha: 1) Carries out ecological monitoring and research in areas of high value for wildlife, 2) Spearheads practical measures for conserving and restoring habitats and their fauna and flora, 3) Encourages appreciation of nature and participation in its conservation, through environmental education and community outreach and 4) Provides a forum for understanding the relevance of the Christian faith to environmental issues.
There is an active marine conservation program with projects in Africa, Europe, and North America.
