Blue Frontier Campaign and Wendy Benchley awarded Peter Benchley Ocean Awards to seven outstanding individuals.
Awards were presented by Dr. Jane Lubchenco, Brian Skerry, Cyn Sarthou, Louie Psihoyos, Kyle Thiermann, and Dr. Jeremy Jackson. Dr. Sylvia Earle was the Master of Ceremonies.
7:00 – 10:00 PETER BENCHLEY OCEAN AWARDS CELEBRATION DINNER
LOCATION: Carnegie Institution, 1530 P Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20005
The Celebration Dinner took place at the elegant Carnegie Institution. Doors opened at 7:00 with cocktails. Guests attending the awards ceremony were provided with complimentary transportation to the dinner from GW to the Carnegie Institution.
