Conducts educational programs, field trips, marine and terrestrial conservation projects, sponsored research, and social activities. The society is a chapter of the Audubon Society, a national network of community-based nature centers and chapters, scientific and educational programs, and advocacy on behalf of areas sustaining important bird populations.
