Born of Hurricane Iniki to serve Kauaian community-based orgs (CBOs) who are now migrating to the “power tools” of the Info Age, Ho`okipa Network facilitates Kauaian CBO efforts through phonework, webwork and roadwork designed to gather, distribute and discuss info required for community decision-making. Today our work regularly encompasses issues in development, education, environment and governance. In practice, our community network includes anyone who seeks to engage with community initiatives.
