The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center rescues, rehabilitates and releases back to the wild sick and injured sea turtles. Since 1997 we have released more than 350 fully recovered turtles. We are an all volunteer organization We also are dedicated to the preservation and protection of all species of sea turtles both on the beach and in the water. Our greater quest is to bring about the realization on the part of every individual that they are stakeholders in the future of our oceans and ultimately our planet. The struggle for survival by the sea turtles is reflected by the story of our oceans. We want everyone to see that each individual can make a difference and that it will take us all to bring about the changes that will save the sea turtles, all marine life, and indeed the planet itself.
