The Laguna Bluebelt brings together organizations and individuals with a common goal of protecting and restoring marine life, conserving biological diversity and maintaining healthy, sustainable marine habitats. We participated in the Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA) process and were instrumental in obtaining MPAs for Laguna Beach. For our efforts, the Laguna Bluebelt received the City of Laguna Beach 2012 Environmental Award.
