Working with the Puerto Rico Department of Natural Resources and the Speaker of the House in Puerto Rico on a three-step plan to save Tres Palmas–the temple of big wave surfing in the Caribbean, nestled in a cozy village called Rinc_n–from overdevelopment. Rinc_n is also home to pristine coral reefs and sandy beaches. Humpback whales come to breed offshore and sea turtles nest on the beaches. This plan was developed in collaboration with government officials, local environmentalists, surfers and environmental groups.
