Region of this Oregon Sierra Club group encompasses Siuslaw and Willamette National Forests, three National Wildlife Refuges — William L. Finley, Basket Slough, and Ankeny, and six wilderness areas — Drift Creek, Menagerie, Middle Santiam, Opal Creek, Bull of the woods, Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Washington. Significant other areas within this range are managed by the Bureau of Land Management.
